爱国卫生运动竞赛是社会主义初级阶段劳动竞赛的组成部分,是党的群众路线在爱国卫生运动中的具体运用。竞赛的目的是解决影响群众生产生活最突出的卫生问题,提高爱国卫生工作的社会效益,促进两个文明建设的发展。竞赛的原则是互相学习,互相帮助,取长补短,共同提高。实践证明,把竞争机制引进爱国卫生工作,具有激励领导,动员群众,加快卫生治本建设,提高卫生水平,促进社会卫生工作向标准
The Patriotic Health Sports Competition is an integral part of the labor competition in the primary stage of socialism and is a concrete application of the Party’s mass line in the patriotic health movement. The purpose of the competition is to solve the most prominent health problems that affect people’s production and life, improve the social benefits of patriotic health work, and promote the development of the two civilizations. The principle of the competition is to learn from each other, help each other, complement each other, and improve together. Practice has proved that introducing the competition mechanism into the patriotic health work has the incentive to lead the people, mobilize the masses, speed up the construction of a healthy and cost-effective environment, raise the level of hygiene, and promote the standard of social health work.
