夹杂物是降低铸坯内部质量的重要缺陷。增加连铸机垂直段高度有利于减少铸坯内部夹杂物的数量并改善其分布。为了得出适宜的垂直段高度,采用数值模拟方法研究了连铸机垂直段高度对特厚板坯内部钢液流动和夹杂物运动的影响。研究结果表明,垂直段高度为3.5m时,有利于特厚板坯中夹杂物上浮并良好分布。研究结果对选择特厚板坯连铸机的垂直段高度具有重要意义。
Inclusions are an important drawback to reducing the internal quality of slab. Increasing the vertical height of the continuous casting machine is beneficial to reduce the number of inclusions in the slab and improve its distribution. In order to obtain the suitable height of the vertical section, the influence of the height of the vertical section of the continuous casting machine on the flow of molten steel and inclusions in the ultra-thick slab was studied by numerical simulation. The results show that when the height of the vertical section is 3.5m, the inclusions in the extra-thick slab will float up and be well distributed. The research results are of great significance to the vertical height of the slab caster.
