Water is the cradle of life. The rivers that carry water provide the most basic living conditions for the creatures on both sides of the Strait. Electricity is the blood that maintains the normal functioning of civilized society. The powerless world, like modern-day agricultural and industrial production, is suffering from leukemia and is struggling on the brink of shock and death. Therefore, talking about hydropower is by no means the issue of energy. The controversy surrounding the dam is reflected more in the tradeoff between interests. How can mankind, on the basis of balancing various needs, find a path of sustainable development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs and test the wisdom of contemporary people.
