在计算工业厂房柱的过程中,柱身的整体稳定是很重要的问题.关于在刚架平面内变截面柱稳定性的验算,过去旧规范曾经根据横梁与柱结合方式的不同(铰接或刚接),而笼统地规定了几个柱计算长度的系数.例如上部柱的计算长度,当横梁与柱刚接时,为其几何长度的2倍;若为铰接,则用2.5倍.实际上影响变截面柱稳定性的因素很多,上述系数是很粗糙的.最近苏联新的钢结构设计规范(1955年颁布)规定:其计算长度是根据柱顶结合方式,上、下柱单位刚度此以及上、下柱临界压力折算系数之此而定.按此求得的计算长度其精确度已较前大大提高.但该规范所确定的系数,仅认为柱在届折时柱顶可以自由侧移,并未考虑横向刚架之整体作用,亦《未计入鄰近受载较小柱可以增加该柱稳定的影响.本文在简单地引证苏联新规范计算长度之理论根据之后,即进一步考虑横向刚架的整体作用,以期能得到更为精确和经济的结果.最后,基于上述理论,拟出一个求横向刚架变截面柱计算长度的近似方法,以兹简化计算.
