July 13, IKEA (IKEA), the world’s largest home furnishing retailer, said it has bought land in Hyderabad, India, laying the groundwork for its plans to open 25 new stores in India in the next decade. IKEA purchased about 13 hectares of land near Hyderabad IT Center. The company also conducted simultaneous inspections of cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi to prepare for the next shop opening.
