北京中轴线是指明清北京城的中轴线,北京的城市规划具有以宫城为中心左右对称的特点,很多建筑都建筑在对称轴上,称为中轴线。明清时期建立中轴线目的就是为强调封建帝王的中心地位,城市总体布局以中轴线为中心,左面为太庙,右面为社稷坛;前面是朝廷,后面为市场。关于北京城中轴线,有一段很悠久的历史。比较明确的中轴线起于金代,那个时候是一条御道贯穿外城的丰宜门、皇城的宣阳门和宫城的应天门。后来到了元代,中轴线才正式形成,位置在今旧鼓
