Objective To observe the relationship between adiponectin, leptin, adiponectin and leptin (A / L) and metabolic syndrome. Methods Two hundred and twenty patients with type 2 diabetes were newly diagnosed. FIns, adiponectin and leptin were detected by radioimmunoassay, and insulin resistance index was calculated. Multivariate regression analysis was performed using adiponectin, leptin and their ratios as dependent variables. Results Obesity had lower adiponectin, A / L, higher leptin than non-obese patients; insulin-sensitive patients had higher adiponectin, A / L, and lower Leptin; A / L and metabolic-related variables, insulin resistance and related variables have obvious relevance. Conclusions Adiponectin, leptin and A / L in type 2 diabetic patients are significantly associated with obesity, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome. It is speculated that adiponectin, leptin, A / L may be further study of the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome and its diagnostic criteria indicators.
