The development of the third generation mobile communication technology (3G) has brought tremendous impact on people’s life. The digital library can provide users with more convenience by using 3G technology. The advantages of 3G technology in mobile digital library are analyzed, the architecture of 3G mobile digital library is discussed, and the problems in building 3G mobile digital library are discussed.
