About 10 years ago, Article B (3) of the draft regulation proposed an unrealistic 10-year comment period on “all existing pesticides.” Following the implementation of Regulation 91/414, 3600/92 was proposed to list the first batch of 90 EU review lists out of a total of 825 pesticide active ingredients. The list contains all the active ingredients of pesticide products marketed before July 25, 1993, but so far, only about one active ingredient and two new active ingredients have been attached to the scope of the regulation to date after about six years.
