以系统功能语言学关于情态与人际功能的论述为出发点,通过对《卡梅伦就苏格兰公投发表的声明》(以下简称“声明”)的责任型情态的数据统计发现该语篇多选用义务性责任型情态、高量值责任型情态以及客观的责任型情态,既表明了英国政府公开承认苏格兰公投结果的有效性,尊重投票的结果,又体现了卡梅伦及其政党的立场和决心。该声明成功传达了演讲者及其代表政党的意识形态。 Starting from the discourse of modal linguistics on modality and interpersonal function, we find that the discourse is more or less selected through the data statistics of responsible states of “Cameron’s statement on the Scottish referendum” (hereinafter referred to as “the statement”) The obligatory responsibility modality, the high value responsibility modality and the objective modalities of duty show both the open recognition by the British government of the validity of the Scottish referendum result, the respect of the outcome of the vote, and the position of Cameron and his political parties determination. The statement successfully conveyed the ideology of the speaker and his party.
