在次贷危机后英国、美国纷纷通过成立专门机构、加强金融机构监管等措施保障金融消费者保护的同时,我国金融市场因其发展滞后而没有充分注意到金融消费者保护的重要性。不断涌现的金融纠纷和西方国家的前车之鉴已然告诫着金融消费保护迫在眉睫。金融消费者作为市场的参与主体,能够增加市场活力、提升竞争能力;对于金融消费者的保护也能抑制金融机构滥用强势地位、保证金融市场的稳定发展,是以研究金融消费者保护有其重要意义。
In the wake of the subprime mortgage crisis, Britain and the United States have all adopted special measures to set up specialized agencies and strengthen the supervision of financial institutions to protect their financial consumers. At the same time, due to their lagging development, China’s financial markets have not fully noticed the importance of financial consumer protection. Emerging financial disputes and the warnings of Western countries already warn of the imminent protection of financial spending. Financial consumers, as the participants in the market, can increase their market vitality and enhance their competitiveness. The protection of financial consumers can also inhibit the abuse of the strong position of financial institutions and ensure the stable development of financial markets, so it is important to study the protection of financial consumers significance.
