早于5、6年前,香港杂志出版界涌现了一批“Free paper”——以免费形式,于指定的地铁站、咖啡店、书店、时装店、家品店,甚至街头派发的杂志,那时顺手拈来也有一本,当人人也抱着“好的东西(杂志)应要用金钱购买”的疑问时,于05年下旬,一本把“creators”作为读者对象、每期以不同book design令人留下深刻印象的《RMM》(Readymade Magazine),亦以免费派发形式面世。创刊至今皆于首星期内被取阅一空,证明了好的、有质素的东西,不一定与金钱挂钩。从第一眼令人难忘的book design至内容取材,《RMM》扮演了香港买少见少的“艺术文化平台”角色。
As early as 5-6 years ago, a batch of “Free paper” appeared in the Hong Kong magazine publishing industry - distributed in designated forms at subway stations, coffee shops, book stores, fashion houses, home-improvement shops and even the streets Magazine, then there is a handy, when everyone is holding “good things (magazines) should buy with money ” question, in late 2005, a “creators ” as Readers, each featuring the impressive book design “RMM” (Readymade Magazine), is also available for free distribution. Since its launch until now, it has been cleared in the first week of the week, proving that good, quality things are not necessarily tied to money. From the first memorable book design to the content, “RMM” plays a rare “artistic and cultural platform” role in Hong Kong.
