福建省永安市高度重视科学技术普及工作。年前市委、市政府发出的《关于加快实施科教兴市战略的意见》中,高标准、全方位地作出了加强科普工作的明确规定。《意见》要求,把科普工作纳入全市国民经济与社会发展的总体规划。加大科普投入,从2000年起市级科普经费由财政按全市总人口人均0.5元安排;乡镇、街道每年也要在财政预算中安排科普经费。加强科普设施建设,在兴建市科技馆的同时,各乡镇、村都要建立科普画廊(宣传栏)、科普宣传室、科技图书室,科普设备要逐年改善。建立以科技群团组织为骨干的高效精干的科普工作队伍。大力开展青少年科技活动,把科普 Yong'an City, Fujian Province attaches great importance to the popularization of science and technology.
