At the beginning of this century, Raab found that exogenous photosensitive drugs can cause photoreactions in vivo under light irradiation at a specific wavelength. In 1924, Policard discovered the accumulation of endogenous porphyrins in human and animal tumors. In 1961, Lipson et al. Described the photodynamic properties of the hematoporphyrin derivative HPD and its role in tumor therapy. Dougherty’s first successful photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of human breast cancer skin metastasis in 1978 marked the beginning of modern clinical PDT. Since then, clinical PDT research has been widely carried out, covering areas such as cancer, precancerous lesions, non-cancerous dysplasia, inflammation
