1986年12月6日至10日,来自全省农业生产、科研和教育战线上的代表在成都举行了省作物学会第四次代表大会。会议讨论和修改了高之仁理事长代表第三届理事会所作的工作报告,选举了第四届理事会,进一步健全和完善了学会的工作机构。针对我省当前农业生产存在的各种问题,尤其是如何解决我省粮食产量的进一步增长这个问题,会议代表发挥自己的业务专长,各抒己见,认真地讨论和研究了解决这些问题的对策和措施,然后由各专业推选代表向省政府和省农牧厅领导提出建议。省人大常委副主任刘海泉同志、省政府领导刘纯夫同志、省科协常务副主席周玉振同志、省农学会理事长农牧厅副厅长刘明等领导同志到会听取了大家的建议。大会还对几十篇优秀论文的作者颁发了奖状,对从事农业科技工作四十年以上的老前辈颁发了荣誉证书。
From December 6 to December 10, 1986, delegates from the front of the province's agricultural production, scientific research and education held the fourth congress of the Provincial Crop Institute in Chengdu. The meeting discussed and amended the report made by Gao Zheren on behalf of the third council and elected the fourth council to further improve and perfect the institute's working mechanism. In view of the various problems existing in agricultural production in our province, especially how to solve the problem of further growth of grain output in our province, the delegates of the conference gave full play to their professional expertise and expressed their opinions and seriously discussed and studied the countermeasures and measures to solve these problems. Then by the professional selection of representatives to the provincial government and provincial agriculture and animal husbandry department leaders make recommendations. Comrade Liu Haiquan, deputy director of the Provincial People's Congress, comrade Liu Chunfu, head of the provincial government, Comrade Zhou Yuzhen, executive vice chairman of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and Liu Ming, deputy director of the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department of the Provincial Agricultural Association, attended the meeting and listened to everyone's suggestions. The congress also awarded certificates to the authors of dozens of excellent papers and presented honorary certificates to veteran seniors engaged in agricultural science and technology for more than 40 years.
