OCT is a bispyridine ring antibacterial compound discovered by the Sterling-Winthrop Institute of Science in the United States in the early 1980s. Chlorhexidine (CHG) is recognized as a very good antimicrobial drug in the early 1960s and is still widely used clinically. This article quoted a large number of foreign studies from the five characteristics of antimicrobial mouthwash, analyzed and compared the similarities and differences between OCT and CHG.
