近年来,我走过了许多城市、乡镇,看到不少新的人文自然景观,也欣赏到不少古老而又有生命力的建筑文化和装饰文化.在中国建筑装饰史上曾令人叹为观止的琉璃文化的确为中国古代建筑增添了独有的魅力.琉璃是一种带彩的陶瓷,为我国独特的民族传统工艺品.举凡建造高大建筑物,特别是建造我国民族传统建筑物,如古代亭台楼阁,庙宇高塔等,琉璃是必不可少的装饰材料.中国古代文学作品中描写到建筑物和装饰品常提到琉璃.如元代创作家王实甫的《西厢记》中有词曰:“梵王官殿月轮高,碧琉璃瑞烟笼罩”.
