我国随着改革开放的步伐正在变得越来越繁荣富强,社会基础设施建设越来越完善,道路交通也变得越来越便捷舒适。在我国城市化程度不断提高的同时,道路交通运力面临的压力也急剧加大,如何解决好城市道路交通的客运需求问题,成为各大城市所要面对的沉重挑战。因此,掌握公路交通客运量情况对于解决该问题显得尤为重要。对公路交通客运量实施预测,可以为交通部门的道路管理提供直接的依据。在众多预测方法中,利用最小二乘支持向量机方法提出的一种新方法对我国目前的国情比较适合,其相对于其他预测方法主要有:较高的精确度,较快的计算速度等优势。

Compared with other prediction methods, the new method has the advantages of higher precision and faster calculation speed .
