Sri Lankan Minister of Plantations D. M. Jayaratne said the Sri Lankan government will reduce its export tax to capture the export markets of the 3 lucrative main crops and the ministers agreed to reduce the export tariffs per coconut from 2 rupees to 1 rupee. After the implementation of this new initiative,
