A new type of invasive breast cancer (invasive micropapillary carcinoma, IMPC) was added to the WHO classification of the WHO breast cancer in 2003. IMPC is a rare type of breast cancer, accounting for 3% to 6% of breast cancer. Because of the unique histopathological features of IMPC compared with other types of breast cancer, this tumor has a high degree of lymphatic invasion and poor prognosis of lymph node metastasis, and may have axillary lymph node metastases and blood vessels in the early stage of IMPC In recent years, it has attracted great attention from clinicians and pathologists at home and abroad.
