2003年,作为集安市高句丽遗存申报世界文化遗产中疑似王陵项目之一,吉林省文物考古研究所对位于洞沟古墓群禹山墓区东南部的JYM0540号墓进行了清理发掘。发掘确认墓葬为一座至少存在5级阶坛的阶坛圹室积石墓,墓顶构筑有宽大的圹室,圹室南侧筑有东、西耳室,并在墓葬圹室内发现烧成木炭的木椁残迹,在圹室和东耳室室内发现较多的随葬品。以往有研究认为此墓为高句丽第十八代王“故国壤王”王陵,墓葬报告的发表必将为高句丽王陵的研究提供一批崭新的田野考古资料。
In 2003, as one of the suspected tombs in the world cultural heritage declared as the remains of the Goguryeo city of Ji’an, Jilin Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology conducted a cleanup excavation of JYM0540 tomb located in the southeast of Yushan tombs of Donggou. Excavation confirmed that the tombs were at least a five-tiered altar chamber gravesite tomb, the tomb built a large tang chamber, tang chamber south built east and west ear chamber, and found in the tomb chamber indoor burning charcoal Of the remnants of the clogs, found in the room and East ear room indoors more funerary objects. According to previous studies, the tomb was the eighteenth generation of the Koguryo Kingdom. The publication of the king’s tomb and tombs will surely provide a batch of brand-new field archeological materials for the study of the Goguryeo royal tombs.
