去年12月30日,在北京新年音乐会如火如荼地在各大剧场缤纷开花的时候,首届北京国际喜歌剧演出季像一朵奇葩,在以“戏剧东城”品牌著称的京城一隅,观众席只有450座的东城区文化馆风尚剧场圆满结束。以小见大、以小求精,闭幕式演出的巴洛克歌剧《女仆当家》(又名《女仆作夫人》)是该剧在北京的首演,诙谐幽默的剧情加上演员精彩的表演,让剧场里响起一阵阵笑声和掌声。一出巴洛克歌剧被新锐导演李卫巧妙自然地植入各种现代元素,南腔北调的笑料包袱以及充满喜感的形体设计让现场观众对歌剧有了新的理解。
