咸阳市区的渭河二级阶地具有多层结构,其中有一层古土壤,从层序上看是自地表向下计的第六个土层,它是第四纪晚更新世(Q_3~2)风积冲积后经成壤作用而形成的褐红色土层。该层顶面分布高程为383米左右,厚度约3~4米,一般埋深近10米,常处於地下水位变动带。我队曾于该区进行过多处民建地基勘察,在某高层建筑物地基勘察中,对这层古土壤经取样试验,获得了它的若干工程技术指标,较有代表性,特汇总整理成表1。从表1中数据可见:该古土壤层的上部、
