中国画在《辞海》当中有这么一段说明:“以钩皴点染、干湿浓淡、阴阳相背、虚实疏密和留白等表现呢手法,来描绘物象与经营构图;取景布局视野宽广,不拘泥于焦点透视。”花鸟画是中国画的一个分支,主要以花鸟鱼虫作为主要的表现主体。它的历史悠久,由长沙楚墓出土的《龙凤仕女图》可看出早在虞、夏、殷、周时代初现端倪。花鸟画虽相比其他支派色彩较为丰富,但是仍然以用墨为主,即使如宋代花鸟画小品,也多设色清淡。但是我们目前需要的是站在当下对未来的展望,用所学的思想、所见的眼界,以当代人的审美来坚守并发展花鸟画的“笔墨趣味”。
