1994年11月1日至2日,铁道部在北京主持召开了拼装移动式支架造桥机鉴定会,国务院中央军委交战办、铁道部科技司、建设司及有关单位共43位专家出席了会议。会议听取了铁道建筑研究设计院的研制报告、铁十三局的施工工艺报告和铁一院的PC梁设计介绍,观看了灵武铁路黄河特大桥使用该机的录相,一致认为:该机是利用八七型抢修器材拼装、在桥墩上原位逐孔建造PC梁的施工装备,设计先进,技术成熟,施工方便,质量可靠;用该机平均14天即可完成1孔
