庄子《庄子》首篇记载了一则著名的惠施大葫芦的寓言故事。惠施种了一些葫芦,看着收获的大葫芦,惠施却不知如何是好。他想到了葫芦的惯常用处:作为容器盛物或当作水瓢舀水。可是,结出的葫芦实在太大了,不适合上述用途。于是,他就把大葫芦打碎扔掉了。该篇同时记述了庄子熟谙这位朋友的品性,因此,对于惠施欠考虑的做法,庄子并不吃惊,相反,他认为惠施的做法是完全可以预料得到的。 Zhuangzi “Zhuangzi” the first recorded a famous Huishifu gourd fables.
