With the development of supersonic Launch Vehicle, it may be some day, from New York to Tokyo, flying 2 hours is no longer a dream. As with conventional spacecraft, which is commonly used for unconventional operations, the aircraft is routinely faced with aerodynamic traction and heating problems. As early as 1990, the researchers first created a new term, “directed energy air sparks” (DEAS), to describe a method of reducing traction and heating by adding energy to the air in front of the vehicle. One way to achieve this is to focus the high-energy laser beam to the front of the range.
