随着生态批评的崛起和世人对萨拉.朱厄特及其作品给予更多的关注。朱厄特作为一个具有丰富生态意识的作家这一点已为国内诸多批评家所认同。那么,其生态意识的渊源何在?文章拟对此作一些考证式研究,从游历自然世界、阅读自然书籍和对资本主义工业化和城镇化思考等三方面来探讨朱厄特的生态意识的成因。
With the rise of ecocriticism, people in the world pay more attention to Sarah Juett and his works. Jurt’s role as an ecologically-conscious writer has been acknowledged by many critics in China. So, what is the origins of ecological awareness? This article intends to make some textual research on it, and discusses the causes of Jurt’s eco-awareness from three aspects: traveling the natural world, reading natural books, thinking about industrialization of capitalism and urbanization.
