The Third Annual Meeting of the Academic Committee of Rock Metallurgy Society of China Society of Mining was held in Anshan from September 9 to 13, 1986. This annual meeting is held jointly with the China Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering (the first annual meeting) of the rock crushing engineering committee, the mining academic committee of the Liaoning Provincial Institute of Metals and the mining academic committee of the Anshan Metal Institute, with metallurgy, nonferrous metals, coal, oil 175 representatives of 11 departments including geology, building materials, machinery, transportation, railway, nuclear engineering and military industries attended the meeting.
