七七事变后我就在一个不得不接受的现实的重重限制之下,这样的心理逐渐蜕变之中,做我的工作:教一群十几岁的孩子并且管理他们。我是一个懒散的人,眼前的现实不容我推卸我应负的责任。每天在街上看见的是敌国的军人与人民,听见的是异族的声音,报上刊载的是敌人炮火的胜利与大规模“开发”的消息。
After the Seventy-Seven Incident, I was under the severe constraints of reality that I had to accept, and this mentality gradually transformed into doing my job of teaching a group of teenage children and managing them. I am a lazy man, the immediate reality does not allow me to shirk my responsibility. Every day I see in the streets soldiers and people of the enemy countries. What I hear is the voices of the aliens. The newspapers contain the victory of the enemy artillery fire and the news of large-scale development.
