At the beginning of the twentieth century, India started its contact, exploration and dissemination of Chinese language, literature and culture. Since then, with the joint efforts of people from all walks of life in India and China, the study of Chinese studies in India has been further developed. Chinese Buddhist studies and Sino-Indian cultural studies have become a hot topic. Indian scholars have also shown more concern in such fields as politics, economy and foreign policy in modern China. In addition, some new research dimensions are also emerging. However, the research perspective still needs to be expanded. However, the lack of first-hand research data may be the most urgent problem to be solved in the study of Chinese studies in India at present.
