李大林是一位在土地革命战争时期加入中国共产党的老党员,抗日战争时期曾任中共广州市委书记、中共广东省委常委、组织部长、中共粤北省委书记等职。在担任中共广东省委主要领导期间,李大林为党的建设立下了不可磨灭的功勋。特别是在抗日战争最艰难的日子里,以李大林为书记的粤北省委,面对国民党疯狂的反共逆流,沉着应对,使广东党组织免受毁灭性的打击。
Li Dalin was an old party member who joined the Chinese Communist Party during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. He served as party secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Committee and a member of the Standing Committee and Organization Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee during the Anti-Japanese War. During his tenure as the main leader of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Li Dalin set an indelible feat for the party’s construction. Especially during the toughest days of the War of Resistance Against Japan, the northern Guangdong provincial party committee with Li Dalin as the secretary faced the Kuomintang’s crazy anti-communist counter-current and dealt with it calmly, thus freeing the Guangdong party organizations from devastating blows.
