中华民族向来以龙作为自己图腾的标识,并赋予其通天利水的崇高神性。这一世人皆知的认识,被越来越多的古代遗存所证明,并且众多龙形艺术形象所展示出的样式与形态大大超出了现代人的预想范畴。但是以立体三维形式出现的龙却并不多见,尽管汉代《春秋繁露》有遇“大雨”而“结土龙”以供祭祀的记录,但存世的龙形雕塑少有遇见。有幸的是,笔者于今年春季考察大足佛教石刻之际,路经大足南山道观,于一下山阶梯的边缘处见一石龙(如图1、2),顿时惊
