Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR) and single-stranded length polymorphism analysis (SSLP) were used to analyze the mRNA expression level of p73 gene and p73 gene microsatellite in 45 specimens of gastric cancer and corresponding normal tissue specimens derived from gastroscope biopsies. The point of heterozygous deletion (LOH) was analyzed to investigate the relationship between changes in gene expression levels and loss of heterozygosity and occurrence and development of gastric cancer. material
