宁夏自然科学基金是宁夏回族自治区政府为推动宁夏科技事业发展于1999年设立的,是自治区科技计划体系中惟一资助应用基础研究的科技计划。“十一五”以来,宁夏自然科学基金(以下简称“区科学基金”)准确把握基础研究在全区科技创新体系中的战略定位,切实加强应用基础研究,努力提高原始创新能力,在建设创新型宁夏、实现经济社会可持续发展方面扮演了重要角色。
