1991年诺贝尔文学奖得主、南非作家纳丁·戈迪默的代表作《无人伴随我》是一部描写南非从种族隔离制度到白人统治终结的特殊历史过渡时期人们命运的小说 ,它用艺术的手法充分展示了人作为自然进化和社会活动的产物所具有的多样性和复杂性。小说作者认为 ,在主体世界里 ,人的自我永远是孤独的 ,无法把它抛弃 ,也无法与另一个自我分享。人的一生是从自我到自我的独自行走。显然 ,戈迪默在这部小说中流露出的悲观色彩与她生活的时代有着不可分割的联系
The 1991 Nobel Prize for Literature, South African writer Nadine Gordimer’s no master with me is a novel depicting the fate of South Africa’s special historical transitional period from the system of apartheid to the conclusion of the White Rule.
