We have compiled a calculation program when we design the mixing cartridge. The block diagram is shown in Figure 1. With this program, the effective volume J of the mixing bowl, the center of gravity P on the Y axis, the center of gravity Y on the X axis, the load weight W_G, and the eccentric moment M can be found. This procedure is also applicable to the calculation of the mixing cones and pear shaped mixing bowls of the double cone type mixer. It is written in FORTRAN77 and used in the PDP-11 type calculation, which improves the calculation speed and accuracy.
