李士龙在北京人艺演出的《红白喜事》中扮演的五叔,很有点“绝活儿”,在全剧中,五叔的戏并不多,只占陪衬地位,但给人的印象却很深。当生产队长的五叔三十多岁,性格粗暴,如果演员不上心,很容易把五叔演成一般的莽汉。而李士龙却本着“要完整地、多面地、立体化地创造人物”的追求,终于在舞台上演出了一个有个性、有生活情趣的艺术典型。在人艺的演员中有一条有益的创作经验,那就是不直奔角色的思想、性格,有些地方需要“反”着演。譬如五叔这个人物,剧本交待他有重男轻女思想。急了就打老婆,如果从“反”面丰富人物,那就得点出他还有爱老婆、体贴老婆的一面。李士龙在仔细研究了剧本之后,还真找到了几个点。譬如第一幕中,五叔拿着鞋追打老婆,上场碰上了郑奶奶,奶奶发问道:“老五家的生了吗?”五叔连忙回答:“生咧!”李士龙用抱愧的语调,皮笑肉不笑地说出这两
