2007～2008年对补要村遗址进行了发掘。在遗址南区发现较丰富的先商文化遗存,填补了冀中南部地区漳河与滹沱河之间同时期考古学文化的缺环。这类遗存的文化面貌与先商文化漳河类型、下岳各庄类型皆有一定差别,年代约相当于二里头文化第三、四期之时,可以作为冀中南部同时期考古学文化的代表。
From 2007 to 2008, the site of the supplement village was excavated. In the southern part of the site, a wealth of pre-Shang cultural relics was found, filling the lack of the same period archeological culture between Zhanghe and Hutuo Rivers in southern central Hebei. The cultural appearance of these relics is different from the Zhanghe type of Xian Shang culture and the type of Xiaoke Yue Zhuang. The time of generation is about the same as that of the second and fourth period of Erlitou culture, which can be used as the archeology culture of the same period in southern Hebei representative.
