“同管双笛”的历史渊源我国笛界泰斗、笛学研究家、教育家、作曲家赵松庭先生生前在《乐器》杂志1992年第4期发表了题为《一种古老而新颖的民族乐器——同管双笛》1的专论,在专论题要中讲:“在品种庞杂、异彩纷呈的笛管乐器中,历史悠久的这种特殊形制与目前常见的横笛有所不同,它的吹孔开在笛管中部,管中无阻隔,吹孔左右两侧皆有音孔,由两手手背朝外按指演奏,表现力极为丰富。”被赵松庭先生命名为“同管双笛”的这种管乐器其主要特征是吹孔开在笛管中部,笛管一分为二,管中无阻隔,吹孔左右两侧皆开
