A number of mysterious cases of pneumonia of unknown causes have been detected in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China since December of 2019. By whole genome sequencing, Chinese scientists found the causal agent is a new type of coronavirus on January 7, 2020, which was thought to have originated from a market in Wuhan that sold wild animals. Later on January 10 at the onset of the Spring Festival Travel Rush, a huge amount of Chinese people began to travel across the nation to reunite with their families to celebrate the grandest and the most important festival for them.
