At present, people have generally accepted the hypothesis that there are two subtypes of dopamine receptors, which are respectively named dopamine D 1 receptor and dopamine D 2 receptor. These receptors are distributed in the central nervous system and some endocrine tissues. Distributed in the cardiovascular system, the formerly named dopamine DA_1 and DA_2 receptors are actually D_1 and D_2 receptors. Part of the reason for accepting the “dopamine two receptors” hypothesis is the use of agonists and blockers that distinguish the second class of receptors.
