众所周知,砂岩的粒度、磨园度和分选性等原始结构,都被看作反映沉积环境水力学性质的“指印”。鉴于各种沉积环境水流能量特点的复杂性,砂岩沉积结构作为环境标志的价值,随着研究不断深入而日益降低。尤其是浊流沉积物,由于其沉积环境是在低于浪基面的深水中,因此,其分选性有可能极差。近年来发现很多重力流砂岩是原牵引流砂质沉积物再搬运再沉积的产物。这种砂岩的沉积结构,特别是分选性,具有牵引流到重力流的过渡特点,或继承了原牵引流沉积的结构性质。因此,上述沉积结构也不能作为区别这两种沉积作用的标志。
It is well-known that the original structure of sandstone, such as grain size, mulching degree and sorting, are all regarded as “fingerprints” reflecting the hydraulics of sedimentary environment. In view of the complexity of the energy characteristics of various sedimentary environments, the value of sandstone sedimentary structures as environmental markers has been declining as the research progresses. In particular, turbidity flow sediments, because of their depositional environment in deep waters below the surface of the waves, may have poor separability. In recent years, it has been found that many gravity flow sandstones are the product of sediment transport and sedimentation in the original traction stream. The sedimentary structure of this sandstone, especially the sorting, has the transitional characteristics of the traction flow to the gravity flow or inherits the structural properties of the original traction flow deposition. Therefore, the above sedimentary structure can not serve as a sign of distinguishing between the two sediments.
