要进一步提高柴油机的平均有效压力,目前主要采用下列三种方法:二级增压系统、米勒系统和补燃增压系统。这三种方法各有利弊、孰优孰劣,尚难断言,既有待于专家的分析论证,也有待于三种系统的日后各自发展。补燃增压系统既然是一种发展方向,国内柴油机工作者粉粉予以重视,并想了解该系统的发展情况。为了满足读者的这种要求,本期连载三篇补燃增压方面的译文。第一篇《补燃增压系统》介绍补燃增压系统的并联旁通布置方式的优点,并初次说明旁通阀的气动控制原理。原文是法国补燃增压柴油机公司在第十三届国际内燃机会议上分发的单印本。第二篇《快艇用 MT40H672型补燃增压柴油机》介绍西德 MTU 公司和法国 SAMT-Amiot 公司共同研制的工字形、40缸、缸径、为185毫米、转速为1,700转/分、适用于军用舰艇的补燃增压柴油机。第三篇《西德 MTU 公司申请补燃增压系统的专利-美国专利4 018 053号》着重介绍西德 MTU公司使用增压空气压力控制流入补燃室的燃油量和空气量的设计方案。本刊选用“补燃增压系统”这一译名,因为一九七七年十月,五机部、六机部、铁道部、交通部和农林部在上海召开《大功率柴油机技术情报网成立和技术交流大会》期间,部分代表在参加“高增压座谈”时,经过热烈讨论,一致同意将“Hyperbar”译为“补燃增压系统”。
