【编者按】新时期以来,我国的西方史学史研究取得了长足的发展,无论是著作、论文数量的增加,还是学术研究水平的提高,乃至于人才队伍的培养,都显示出繁荣昌盛之象。近期出版的张广智主编《西方史学通史》(六卷本),可以看做是这一学科繁荣发展的标志性成果。但是,如果把这一成果看做一个学科发展新起点的话,学科的未来发展则是一个值得研究的重大问题。为了进一步推进中国西方史学史学科的建设和发展,本刊约请站在学科研究前沿 【Editor’s note】 Since the new era, great progress has been made in the study of the history of Western historiography in our country.
