大劣按蚊Anopheles dirus是目前海南岛山林地区的传症媒介(中国医学科学院寄生虫病研究所等,1980;李祖资,1981;邓达等1982),对其自然种群寿命的观察,不但是对了解其生态习性的重要环节,而且是分析媒介传疟作用及考核防制措施的依据。过去对海南岛按大劣蚊寿命的观察,均用经产蚊比率间接推算出每日存活率以及平均寿命(邓达、钱会霖1980;李祖资,1981),鉴于经产蚊率受各种因素影响较大(Service,1976),本文报告系统观察大劣按蚊在自然界的寿命,试用胸悬骨突生长线的数目(潘实清等,1983),确
