Producer services refers to the service industries that provide guarantee services for maintaining the continuity of industrial processes, promoting industrial technological progress, upgrading industries and increasing production efficiency. It is an ancillary service directly related to the manufacturing industry and an emerging industry independently developed from the internal manufacturing service sector. The Guiding Opinions on Speeding up the Development of Producer Services and Promoting the Adjustment and Upgrading of China’s Industrial Structure issued by the State Council in 2014 clearly pointed out that the producer service industry involves many aspects of agriculture and industry.
