5月18日,重庆宗申集团正式入主原中国公路摩托车队,中国第一支完全意义上的工厂职业摩托车队——宗申摩托车队在北京宣告成立。这标志着我国摩托车运动开始真正与国际接轨。今后宗申摩托车队将在国家体育总局的批准和授权之后继续代表中国参加世界摩托车比赛。全国人大常委会副委员长王光英出席成立大会表示祝贺,国际摩联也发来贺
