酒文化在中国源远流长,是中国文化的重要组成部分。酒在中国古代,不仅是重要的物质饮食文化,更包含着丰富的精神文化。酒至魏晋,正始名士、竹林名士大量饮酒,酒成为避世全身的手段。世人以饮酒为名士风度,天下共效之,文人饮酒之风自汉末开始大盛。其后饮酒逐渐成为生活的麻醉品、纵欲享乐的风气代表,也成为了士大夫阶层的高尚点缀。晋末陶潜也大量饮酒,但意不在酒,诗酒隐逸,洒脱自然。他以酒入诗,写作了大量饮酒诗歌,把酒与诗真正结合起来。
