例一:一台286微机,使用数年后,突然出现无法启动的故障。即开机自检时,显示器显示出英文的“键盘错误”字样,然后停止自检,键盘操作完全失效。由于在其它机器上验证了该机键盘是好的,所以,原机使用者曾认为是键盘接口电路有问题。笔者在检查此机时,发现主板上机内电池已失效漏液,且已流淌到附近的印刷线路板上(原机为卧式机芯),故怀疑是电池液把线路腐蚀断了。用万用表欧姆档测量被电池液污染的几根线,发现确有一根不通,查其走向,正是通往键盘的一根线。当另外用细导线把该线路断开的两端接通之后,开机检验,一切正常。为了彻底消除后患,用两节五
